Here at Avery Cox Design, we’re deep in the style immersion stage for one of our latest projects, a full renovation of an Art Moderne home! This period in interiors was known for its curving walls and windows, clean lines, and glamorous finishes. Check out some of our favorite pieces of inspiration below – we’re looking forward to seeing this project come to life in an updated, vibrant way! And if you’re in Austin and want to get your Art Moderne fix, swing by the historic Bohn House on 29th street! It was designed by Austin architect Roy L. Thomas in 1938 and (fun fact!) was actually inspired by the sci-fi novel “Lost Horizon”.
